Since 2012, we have been the backbone of Ubiquiti distribution and support in Australia. We’ve stayed loyal through every technological shift, but as the industry has changed, so must we. Today, UBNTShop officially moves under the MrWiFi umbrella.

This isn't our first name change, but it is our most important one. Over the past 15 years, we have evolved alongside the brands we supported, often ahead of the curve:

The Reality of the Transition
We believe in transparency. In 2023, despite our domains being registered long before any trademark applications were lodged, corporate pressure from Ubiquiti America led the Australian Domain Authority (auDA) to withdraw our domain. That domain now sits inactive and useless under their control.
Most recently, access to distribution was used as leverage to force yet another name change. While this process has been frustrating—and at times, frankly, vindictive on the part of the manufacturer—it has led us to a vital realization: Our value isn't in the brand name on the box; it’s in the expertise we provide.

The Australian market has seen a "prostitution" of networking products. Major retailers and "box-shifters" sell hardware with zero support infrastructure, leaving customers stranded when things go wrong.
